Environment Sub-Collection

History of the Sub-Collection

Environment is a recently created sub-collection of the National Museum of Agriculture. It is based on part of a former sub-collection dedicated to natural conditions, science, and education, which has been kept in storage at the Kačina branch of the National Museum of Agriculture, as is sadly reflected in the condition of its items. The Environment Sub-Collection is therefore still incomplete. What it does contain at the moment are various instruments and teaching aids used in education or agricultural research. A large part of items now included in the collection date to the nineteenth century.
