The exhibits are dominated by the prototype of the Czech harvesting thresher SM-500, manufactured in 1971. It was a very advanced machine, which in many ways surpassed the existing world production. Unfortunately, its serial production did not take place and its development was handed over to the GDR. The combine harvester first went into the field on 2 July 1971. The unique combine harvester was one of the most powerful machines of its time and was at the top of the world's production in terms of its many advances. However, the designers' dream of mass production of a timeless machine was not fulfilled and the project fell into oblivion. Since 1983, one of the three SM-500 prototypes has been in the collection of the National Museum of Agriculture.
Among the exhibits, you can also see a forage loader with a stacker NPK-160. The manufacturer was Agrostroj Prostějov plant Rožmitál, year of production 1961. The machine consists of two separate units - loader and stacker. The forage loader with a stacker collects and loads dry or green forage onto a trailer or, if a stacker is attached, collects and builds forage into stacks. The loader has an eye at the front for attaching to the tractor, a pin at the rear centre of the axle for attaching the roller and clamps on the side frame beams for attaching the carried stacker. The capacity of the stacker is 4.8 m3, the diameter and height of the stack is 2000 x 2000 mm. The harvested area when stackering dry forage and yielding 0.5 kg/m2 is 2 ha/hr. The weight of the machine is 1070 kg.
