06 EXPORT OF AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES

Around 20 years ago, Ukraine strategically shifted its focus towards actively exporting its agricultural production. This policy change has propelled Ukraine to become the world's leading exporter of agri-food products, playing a crucial role in global food security. Approximately 400 million people worldwide depend on Ukraine's grain, and the country exports agricultural commodities to 175 countries. In 2021, agri-food products accounted for 41% of Ukraine's total exports.
